How to Enter the Hockey on the Hill Contest

Peewee house league teams registered in a girls’ ice hockey division or a boys’ ice hockey division sanctioned by Hockey Canada are eligible for entry in the Hockey on the Hill Contest.  If a team plays in a house league with a tiering system in place (for example, Hockey Eastern Ontario), then any tier II peewee level house league team from that league will be eligible for entry. For full team and entrant eligibility requirements, see Contest rules.

Entrants will be asked to demonstrate why their team deserves to represent their Region in the Canada 150 Division by way of a brief written essay and a video submission.  Essays will be limited to 250 words or less, while videos will be limited to a maximum length of 30 seconds.  Submission instructions can be found on the Contest Entry Form below.

The Hockey on the Hill Contest will close at 11:59 p.m. (EST) on Nov. 18, 2017.

Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges and judged based on the following criteria: creativity, energy level, and Canadian spirit. Winning teams will be contacted by a representative of the OIHF by Nov. 24, 2017.

No purchase necessary to enter the Contest.  Skill testing question required.  The odds of winning depend upon the number and caliber of entries received.  Prize values vary by Region.  Click here for full Contest rules and details.
